On demand viewing of messages and documents

When a sender sends a single conventional email to a single recipient, it is likely that four copies are created; one each on the sender’s hard drive, sender’s email server, recipient’s hard drive and recipient’s email server. Once regularly scheduled backups occur, any and, potentially, all copies now become part of an email record with an almost perpetual life. The messages and documents in this email record, encrypted or not, will remain perpetually available to be compromised or requested as part of a future legal discovery. For organizations attempting to enforce retention policies for documents and other electronic communications, conventional Email prevents any such enforcement.

Messages and documents sent using Evizone only reside permanently on Evizone servers. These communications are not stored on the sender’s or recipient’s computer. User's view messages and individual document pages on demand with the sender's permission. In fact, "sender" isn't quite the correct term as messages and documents are not sent, they can only be viewed. The user has no means of copying or printing a message or document.

Messages and documents sent using Evizone will also leave no trace or content within the conventional email system; mail servers, pst files, etc...

View on demand benefits

Evizone's view on demand design provides many benefits to the user:

Automatic enforcement of message and document retention policies

The messages and documents sent through the Evizone service are accessible and retained according to a defined life cycle policy. The enforcement of this policy is automatic and is unavoidable. When the access period expires, messages and documents can no longer be accessed and their retention period starts. When the retention period expires, the messages and documents are permanently deleted. With Evizone's view on demand design, messages and documents are only stored on Evizone servers. Once an Evizone document or message is deleted, there will be no remaining electronic copy of this communication including backups.

The use of Evizone within a company or organization automates the enforcement of access and retention policies.

Anytime withdrawal of messages and documents

Evizone provides subscribers with complete control over their messages and documents. They can withdraw a message or document from view; even when another user is viewing it. Further, the visibility controls in Evizone allow the user to define different document access for different users within a workgroup. For example, a document owner could allow one user access for the full access period, another user access for 24 hours and another user no access at all. At any point, the owner can change their mind and change access for individual workgroup members or for the entire workgroup.

Access history is automatically recorded

Evizone's view on demand design automatically records all message and document access. Each user can see who has accessed their messages and documents, how many times and when.

Lost or stolen computers contain no messages and documents

Since all Evizone messages and documents are stored on Evizone servers, if a notebook computer is lost or stolen, it will not contain any messages or documents which can be compromised. Further, each Evizone user can access their messages and documents from any computer on which the Evizone rich client has been installed.
