Unlike browser-based solutions, Evizone's rich client software prevents the use of print screen, screen capture/recording tools and web conferencing tools as a means of bypassing protection. Evizone blocks the electronic means of copying or printing a confidential document; ensuring that confidentiality is not compromised.
Communications are not stored on the sender's or recipient's computers
Messages and documents sent using Evizone only reside permanently on Evizone servers. These communications are not stored on the sender’s or recipient’s computer. If a user’s computer is stolen, they will lose none of their communications and all of their messages and documents remain confidential. Further the user can access their communications from any computer with the Evizone rich client installed; a simple process which can occur from the Evizone support site over the internet.
Access and retention policies are automatically enforced
The messages and documents sent through the Evizone service are accessible and retained according to a user-defined life cycle policy. The enforcement of this policy is automatic and unavoidable. When the access period expires, messages and documents can no longer be accessed and their retention period starts. When the retention period expires, the messages and documents are permanently deleted. With Evizone, messages and documents are only stored on Evizone servers. Once an Evizone document or message is deleted, there will be no remaining electronic copy of this communication including backups.
Access history is automatically provided
Access history is automatically recorded for all messages and documents sent and viewed through the Evizone service. Senders can easily determine who has read their messages and documents, how many times and when. Since Evizone allows users to withdraw message or document access at any time, the user doing so can easily determine whether their message or document was read, by whom and when.
