Copy and print protection

Secure communications requires that users sending messages and documents have complete control over these communications. Once an electronic or printed copy can be made, security can be compromised and the user will not know that this has occurred. Only Evizone fully protects each user's communications from being compromised. Evizone does this in four ways:

Copy and print protection

The messages and documents sent through Evizone cannot be saved, copied, forwarded or printed. By design, Evizone provides no means for users to copy, paste, print or forward any messages or documents or parts thereof. Users are only able to view content with the sender's permission.

Elimination of the copy/print protection backdoors

Unlike browser-based solutions or secured pdf documents, EviGuard software prevents the use of print screen, screen capture/recording tools, web conferencing tools and virtualization as a means of bypassing protection. Evizone blocks the electronic means of copying or printing a confidential document; ensuring that confidentiality is not compromised.

Messages and documents are not stored on the sender's or recipient's computers.

Messages and documents sent using Evizone only reside permanently on Evizone servers. These communications are not stored on the sender’s or recipient’s computer. User's view messages and individual document pages on demand with the sender's permission. In fact, "sender" isn't quite the correct term as messages and documents are not sent, they are viewed.

Evizone's view on demand design prevent's a concerted decryption/hacking effort from revealing a message's or document's content. There is simply no file available that can accessed and hacked. Finally, this architecture future-proofs all communications. As new and stronger encryption techniques emerge, Evizone will adopt these improvements to strengthen the encryption for on-demand transmission of message and document page views.

Messages and documents are not stored on email servers or in email backups.

The messages and documents sent to Evizone never reside within the conventional Email servers and their ongoing backups. This eliminates the possibility of using these systems to compromise the copy and print protection. Further, when an Evizone message or document is deleted, it is not only permanently deleted, but there will be no remaining copies of the message or document anywhere. Evizone makes it simple to enforce document retention policies.

Conventional email with document attachments creates multiple copies of each message and document. Further, since these communications can be easily saved, copied, forwarded or printeed, the sender loses control the minute they hit Send. For this reason, message and document retention policies cannot be enforced using conventional email. Evizone's copy and print protection ensures that each message or document is stored only on Evizone servers. When the retention period expires, each message or document is automatically and permanently deleted.
